So here we are - 2024! Happy New Year to you all.

First, I’m humbled by just how caring and generous the community of Ventnor is. A few weeks ago my tiny camper van was condemned. I’ve lived out of that van since 2018 (purely by choice!) and it broke at just the wrong time financially. But the kindness of local people in my home town means all is good. Thank you so much, Ventnor.

Equally humbling has been the donations I’ve received through BuyMeACoffee. This enables people to support me by donating the value of a coffee or two. This is proving another life-saver and I’m so thankful for your support. Over time, my book income will grow. Your support is seeing me through the lean start-up phase as a writer. I couldn’t do this without you.

2024 is set to be a good year. I’m planning on publishing my next book by mid January. That’ll be number eight. My ninth book will be published by the first week in February. I love writing!

My thoughts go out to the people of Leeson Road who’s lives have been disrupted by the large landslip at The Landslip. I hope a solution can be found to stabilise the situation at people’s homes. We’re all thinking of you.

Now, I must go do some editing of my next book. Stay safe and have a lovely day.

Steve

As I write this Ventnor is all-but cut-off as far as visitors are concerned, with Leeson Road shut due to a fairly major landslip...

Who am I?

My name is Steve - the Cornish Vandweller - and I've been living very comfortably in my impossibly small Citroen Berlingo since February 2018. Keep an eye on my blog for updates.
